Privacy Policy — Count Anything

Last updated: 8 August 2026

The short version: everything you count stays on your device — we never receive it. The app is free and supported by ads, and the advertising provider (Google AdMob) collects some device data in order to show them. That is the only data leaving your phone.

What we collect

Nothing. The developer operates no servers and receives no data from you. There is no account, no analytics and no crash reporting.

What our advertising provider collects

The app displays ads through Google AdMob. To serve and measure those ads, Google may collect and process:

This processing is carried out by Google as an independent provider under its own terms. See Google's Privacy Policy and how Google uses data from apps that use its services.

Your counters, their values, history, notes and tags are never sent to the ad provider or to anyone else.

Your choices about ads

What is stored, and where

Everything you enter — your counters, their values, history, notes, tags and your app settings — is stored only in the app's private storage on your own device. It is never uploaded.

Sharing

We do not share your data with anyone, because we never receive it. The only third party involved is the advertising provider described above.

If you use the Export feature, the app copies your counters as JSON to your device's clipboard. What you then do with that text is entirely your choice; the app does not send it anywhere.

Deleting your data

Deleting a counter removes it and its history immediately. Uninstalling the app removes all of its data from your device. Because we store nothing on our side, there is nothing for us to delete on your behalf. To have data held by the ad provider removed, use the Android controls above or contact Google.

Children

The app is a general-purpose utility and is not directed at children under 13. We collect no personal information from anyone.

Changes to this policy

If a future version adds optional online features (such as an account, cloud backup or syncing between devices), this policy will be updated before that version is released, and those features will be opt-in. Counting itself will continue to work fully offline without an account.
