Word Clash is a party word-guessing game published by Kage Yazılım ("we", "us"). This policy explains what the app does with data. It is short because the app collects very little.

The short version. Your cards, scores, statistics and settings never leave your device. The app sends two anonymous counters to our server — one when it is first installed, one when a match starts — carrying a random handle and the app language, nothing that identifies you. Ads are provided by Google AdMob, which uses its own identifiers.

1. What we store on your device

The following stays on the phone or tablet and is never uploaded:

Deleting the app deletes all of it. You can also clear it inside the app under Settings → Data → Clear all history.

2. What the app sends to us

WhenWhat is sentWhy
Once, on the first launch after installation Random handle, app language, platform, app version To count installs
Each time a match starts The same four values To count how much the game is played

These requests go to leaderboards.kageyazilim.com. The "random handle" is generated on the device the first time it is needed (something like wc-3f9a1c07) and lets us tell one install apart from many without knowing who you are. No name, e-mail, account, contact list, photo, precise location or card content is ever sent, and there is no user account to tie the counters to.

Like every web server, ours sees the IP address the request arrives from. An IP address can identify the approximate region of a device, so we treat it as personal data: we use it only to keep these counters honest, keep them in aggregate form, and do not use them to build profiles.

3. Internet connection

The app asks for a connection when it starts and shows a notice if there is none. Gameplay itself does not need the network beyond the items in this policy.

4. Advertising

The free version shows ads from Google AdMob. Google may use a device advertising identifier and similar technologies to select and measure ads, and it acts as an independent controller for that processing. See How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services and the Google Privacy Policy.

You can limit ad personalisation in your device settings (Android: Settings → Privacy → Ads; iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking). Where the law requires consent, a consent dialog from Google is shown before personalised ads are served.

Watching an optional rewarded ad grants five ad-free turns. That counter is stored on your device only.

5. Purchases

Buying Remove ads is handled entirely by Google Play or the Apple App Store. We never see your payment details. The app only stores a local flag that the purchase exists, and asks the store to restore it when you tap "Restore purchase".

6. Children

The game is suitable for a family audience, but it is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has provided data through the app, contact us and we will remove it.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data we hold, or to object to its processing. Because the counters we receive are not linked to an account, the practical way to stop all data leaving your device is to uninstall the app. For any request, write to us at the address below and we will answer within 30 days.

8. Changes

If this policy changes we will update this page and the date at the top. Significant changes will also be noted in the app's store listing.
